At Garfield Elementary School our number one goal is to provide our students with the very best education in a safe, clean and nurturing learning environment. We want to succeed in preparing all of our students to be ready to enter the college of their choice once they graduate from high school. We will accomplish this goal through high academic expectations and through collaborative work between home, school and community. I ask you to support our school by ensuring that your children's health is protected at all times; by encouraging them to participate in our free breakfast and lunch program; by helping them arrive to school on time prepared to learn every day; by asking them to do their very best in school work, homework and behavior; by accentuating the positive in them; by reading all school communications; and by attending parent conferences and parent workshops.
